Mad max 2015 the video game™ is actually fun

#cowmmunist #nobody told me it wasnt a bad buggy garbage pile like i thought it was #i only think that because i bought the game in 2015 #and i booted ot up for the first time and it couldnt run #i was never able to even play it #so i forgot about it all these years #randomly my dad is telling me about video games because sometimes we talk about them but its rare #and he brings it up and says that its supposed to be the best mad max game ever mase #and im like got dayum daddyo thats one big claim o famo #and i told him i had to take his word for it #and told him my brief experience with it #and all he had to say about it was “maybe you should try it”#and well here i am #i am so goddamn high right now #my legs are so far away #and my microwave is screaming about my chicken sandwich #but wow funny game where you drive around a little trash car with guns is very very fun good for brain actually especially because in desert #where gun and car and bad guy belong i know this from the movies thats always where the cars and the guns and the bad guys are #and by god were they right

That's for another post. I have quite a few treats to share for this anniversary!#Rather...I've been thinking about my own relationships and the bonds I've forged and broken.#The transition between environments...when you leave somewhere and hear about how all the people you were once close with-#-have been moving on without you? It's so bittersweet.#You want to be happy for them. You wish you were at their side. You cannot be at their side.#Relationships change like the tides. They ebb and flow. Sometimes they crash so hard into the shore it reshapes it entirely.#The truth is that we are more surrounded by love than we realize. Even when we feel utterly alone - there is someone who wants to help.#And to me this scene strikes a chord in that way.#This is the reminder than even though you feel like it is all burning down around you - you are loved.#There are people who miss you. People who are so thankful for your presence in their life.#And most importantly of all. And I say this from the heart: There are people you have yet to meet.#Remember this in the darkest of days: The future is full of loves you have yet to see. The present is also full of love you forgot to see.#Another reminder to go tell someone you care about how much they mean to you today. It matters.

A little 15 min doodle but first post of the year has to be Bingqiu!

#ok its time to get mushy in the tags because I doubt anyone would read them too closely #I’ve had severe art block for YEARS before I got into danmei in 2024 #and it wasn’t that my skill was gone it’s just that I thought nothing I did was good enough #I started reading danmei around the summer of last year and I got SO INSPIRED #I dived into the fandom side of things (I haven’t been in a live fandom in years) and was so excited about all the art people were making #and writing! and music! and animatics!#everything was so bright and colorful and beautiful #and everyone had such cool designs for these book characters that I’d grown to love #so I took a chance and doodled a little Luo Binghe and posted him on here #and I was so taken aback by how welcoming and sweet the fandom was #it made me wanna keep taking chances and posting my art— because I think that’s one of the hardest things I’ve come to accept #that even if it’s not good enough for me #someone else may enjoy it #and ain’t it crazy that ive come to enjoy drawing again too #sure the interaction has been fun but it’s been even more fun experimenting with my style and experimenting with colors and rendering #and grayscale and angles #and composition and expressions #ahh!! art is so fun!!
